 SCOUTS & GUIDES
The Mission of Scouting and Guiding is to
contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on
the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are
self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
It helps in building confidence and self esteem among the students. They
learn important life-skills, team building ,outdoor adventure, education and
fun. It helps them to explore, to discover the world beyond classroom, and also
helps in all round development .Various activities are held throughout the
year.
Scouts have provided an opportunity for youth to gain important life
skills, such as communication, problem solving, and leadership. These skills have
been invaluable in helping Indian youth become successful adults. The Scouts
also provide a platform for young people to learn about their culture and
heritage.
Scouts and Guides Law
- Scouts/Guides
must be trustworthy.
- Scouts/Guides
must treat everyone as their friend and must treat other Scouts/guides as
their Brother/sister.
- Scouts/guides
should always be courteous.
- Scouts/Guides
should be friend to all animals and a nature lover.
